Background

I have been living and working in the Seattle/ Bellevue/ Redmond area for the past 20+ years.  While I grew-up in Southern California and Taiwan, I went to graduate school in the Midwest.  I enjoy travelling and experiencing different cultures.  I love our Pacific Northwest.

My early work history has been primarily in university counseling centers.  I was at Seattle University for many years as staff and then as an administrator.  I have worked in other settings in research, training, and rehabilitation.

Since establishing my private practice on the Eastside, I have worked with a broad range of people to find solutions to current challenges and healing for past hurts with the aim for a more fulfilling connection with ourselves and others.   I work with many people in the tech industry as well as their families.

My counseling style is collaborative and grounded in mindfulness based cognitive therapy, internal family systems, and interpersonal neurobiology.  I help guide you to tune inward through talk therapy, somatic experiences, tapping, and meditation.  I take into account individual backgrounds, values, and beliefs to jointly establish goals for therapy.
